Present Perfect Progressive

The Present Perfect Progressive Tense is formed using the following structure:

 Subject + Have / Has + Been +Past Participle.

 

 We use the present perfect progressive :

It is used to describe an event that started in the past but is still happening in the present.

Present Perfect

The Present Perfect Tense is formed using the following structure:

Affirmative: Subject + Have / Has + Past Participle.

Negative: Subject + Haven't / Hasn't + Past Participle.

Question: Have / Has + Subject + Past Participle.


We use the present perfect:

For something that started in the past and continues in the present.

When we are talking about our experience up to the present.
